• Jeffrey Danciger (jdanciger@math.utexas.edu): Research interests include geometry, topology, and deformation theory of locally homogeneous geometric structures on manifolds.
• Cameron McA. Gordon (gordon@math.utexas.edu): Research interests include manifold topology, with particular emphasis on knot theory and 3-dimensional manifolds.
• John E. Luecke (luecke@math.utexas.edu): Research interests include the topology and geometry of 3-manifolds, applications of topology to biology and the knotting of DNA. 
• Maggie Miller (maggie.miller@austin.utexas.edu): Research interests include geometric topology in dimensions 3–5, especially questions about knotted surfaces in 4-manifolds.
• Tim Perutz (perutz@math.utexas.edu): Research interests include symplectic topology, Mirror symmetry, 4-manifolds and low-dimensional topology.
