UT Austin ASC SOA/CAS Exam DVD Seminars
ASC provides Club Members with
an opportunity to rent DVD Seminars for exams P/1 and FM/2 and MLC free of charge. Members can
rent the DVD's from Friday till Monday, or from Monday to Friday. To
prevent loss/damage to DVD's, we ask the renter for a deposit. Deposit check will be
discarded when DVD's are returned on time and in good shape.

The University of Texas
Actuarial Science Club and CO-OP are sponsoring cost effective exam-prep
seminars for the joint SOA/CAS exams P/1 and FM/2.
Dr. Mark M. Maxwell,
PhD, ASA, a visiting professor at UT, was
leading both seminars in Spring. He has taught actuarial classes for
several years. He is currently finishing a textbook on probability
which SOA will use as a suggested text for the P/1 exam.

On the seminar
weekend, we recommend students to bring a sweater since the room
temperature tends to be colder than desired. |
